Founder Wins First 2010 daVinci Cup

In daVinci Cup 101 much fun was had by all. The competition was tight throughout the contest with Josh, Jennie, and Rob battling for the top prize. In the end, daVinci Cup founder Rob Davis walked away with another cup. First time contestant Cally Davis, a Greek from Pocassett, Massachusetts took home the booby prize.

Most Senior Contestant Debuts in da Vinci Cup 101

Dynamic 76 year old daVinci Cup contestant Cally Davis made her debut in the April 2 through 11 challenge. She stayed with the pack and survived the rigorous competition.  Davis, however, was disappointed in her first daVinci Cup showing.  After the awards ceremony she submitted a 'challenge request' to the competition committee requesting that Dr. Mario be added as an official da Vinci Cup contest.  A committee representative, speaking off the record, indicated that Cally's request will likely be declined.  "Video games are not in the spirit of the da Vinci Cup", he said.  Stay tuned for further information about this controversy.
